Basics
What is N Clock?
N Clock is a simple clock app for Android. It bundles alarms, a timer and a stopwatch in one clean dark interface inspired by the Nothing design language.
Is N Clock free?
N Clock is a one time purchase. No ads, no tracking, no subscription. Once you buy it, it stays yours.
Which Android versions are supported?
N Clock needs Android 12 or newer. On the first launch it asks for permission to send notifications, schedule exact alarms and display over the lock screen so the full screen alarm can appear.
Alarms
Will my alarm ring after a reboot?
Yes. N Clock supports Direct Boot, so alarms are restored and will still trigger after the phone restarts, even before you unlock it the first time.
Will the alarm ring if Do Not Disturb is on?
Yes. The full screen alarm wakes the display and plays through Do Not Disturb, so you will not miss it. You can snooze or stop it straight from the lock screen with a single tap.
My alarms keep getting killed overnight. What do I do?
Some phones (Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Honor and Nothing OS among others) put apps to sleep in the background, which can stop alarms from firing. N Clock has a setup guide for each of these. On Nothing OS the short version is: long press the N Clock icon, tap App Info, open App battery usage and set it to Unrestricted.

Yes, you can pick any tone on your device. N Clock also ships a growing library of hand made and licensed ringtones, including the classic Big Ben and Winter.
Timer
Does the timer keep running if I close the app?
Yes. The timer runs in the background with a notification you can see at a glance, and keeps going after you close the app or restart the phone. You also get a plus one minute button and instant restart.
What are the tea presets?
Quick start presets for Black, Green, Chai and Oolong tea, so you can start a timer with the right steeping time in one tap. There are also presets for other common durations.
Privacy
Does N Clock track me?
No. No analytics, no crash reporters, no advertising IDs, no account and no cloud sync. Your data stays on your device.
Does N Clock need an internet connection?
No. The app works fully offline. The only time it talks to the internet is when Google Play checks the license for your one time purchase.
Is N Clock GDPR compliant?
Yes. N Clock is built in Germany with GDPR in mind. Since there is no account, no analytics and no cloud sync, there is also no personal data for the app to collect or process.
